About me: My name is Lemmi Karnop, and I'm a designer from Darmstadt, Germany. In addition to my studies as a communication designer, participating in the hip-hop dance community in the Rhine-Main area has influenced my way of working. I see the field in which I move as a kind of playground, flexible for experiments. Which leads me to work with a focus on conceptually design and intermedially projects.
As it is important as well as interesting for me to work with social /cultural /scientific positions and engage in an exchange with the perspectives of different experiences, I see the design community as a place where we rethink and break down formats and boundaries in the realization of ideas, while focusing on making them accessible and appealing to others outside our bubble.
